I'm 5'2 125lbs, I ordered a small and the bodice fit great but the dress is incredibly long for a shorter person. I wore 5 inch heels with it and it was still so long I was stepping on it if I wasn't careful while walking but I didn't have time to alter it. I gave it 4 stars though because some of the beads were loose and I had to sew them myself so they would be more secure. The dress is gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments on it, it takes a long time to press but so worth it because it moves beautifully. FYI - much of the beading is iridescent, I thought it looked clear from the picture.UPDATE: I am editing my review because I was terribly disappointed when I noticed that some of the stones on the waist are missing and falling off. This is unacceptable. It would have bee nice if the designer would have included extra stones in the baggy with "extras." Too late for me to return it so I will run to craft store and hopefully find the same stones to fix this dress.I just received my dress and I am in love. I wanted something elegant without breaking the bank.The dress was exactly what I expected (it looks just like the pictures). I followed the measurements listed in the description and I am not disappointed (as a matter of fact the XL measurements are exactly the same as mine). I am 5'5, size 12 and 38DDD bust. The length and bust area were perfect. I highly recommend this dress!I must admit this was an amazing dress on me. The way the flow of the dress was able to hide some of my most unflattering parts was outstanding. I purchased this dress for a ball. At first, I ordered the actual size and had to return it for a larger size due to me being a top heavy individual. Needless to say, I received a lot of compliments on my dress and how beautiful it looked on me. This was my second Meier dress that I have purchased and each one has not been a disappointment. I can now be considered a fan of Meier's gowns.The bust area didn't work for me in either the medium or large. Too much poofy cup material high up above. It's a really nice dress so I was disappointed that neither size worked out, but it's proportions were off for me. The medium was too tight in the midriff yet still had an overload of cup material. No problems though with the return of both dresses I had purchased.The dress is beautiful; however, it was a little too small around the middle and too big in the shoulders. But, with a little alteration in the straps and just a little weight loss, it will be perfect.It was too large but that's the way I bought it because better too large than too small!but it is a beautiful dress!What I did not like was that the product description stated that it came with a shawl, when I contacted Meier's they told me that was an error in the description, but that they would find a shawl to match and ship it to me.I was happy that they were so accommodating, but now a month later and still no shawl. I guess they were hoping I would forget about it.But I didn't! not good customer service Meiers!Just what I was looking for! It fits perfectly and the length is just right (I'm 5'10"). Love the A Line. Fits perfect up top, and not stifling on the bottom. Came with a shawl and extra sparkley bits... so I don't what the one reviewers mentioned... And if a jewel or two fall off, oh well... for the price and fit, can't be beat.The dress is simply beautiful. I am petite. So the dress was longer than I expected. So I had to get it altered. The fitting was perfect. I just followed the measurments instructions and it fit great! I got so many compliments! I will be buying again from this seller.
