This is a nice chelsea boot! I'm quite picky when it comes to boots and most of the time, I end up shelling out hundreds of dollars for them. These feel and look like those branded boots I buy for a lot cheaper! I've worn these ones and I've received compliments on that one day I wore it to work! One thing to note is that the sizing is SOMEWHAT big. I ordered a size 10, as I'm almost always a size 10, but my thin, dress shoe socks won't cut it, so I had to wear my regular workout (football and deadlifting) socks which is a few centimeter thick with more cushioning and that did the trick of making them fit as expected. I'm mostly going to be wearing this shoe when it's cold out so no big deal regarding socks. If you are going to be wearing those thin dress shoe socks, however, best thing to order half a size down. The outsole grip is not bad all either, and I can go to a freshly mopped bathroom without having to worry about slipping! Overall, I approve and would probably be ordering another colorway just to match some of my other styles!It’s a perfect fitI was looking for a pair of suede Chelsea boots to wear with my favorite pair of black jeans that was stylish and affordable. When I happened across these affordable options from Metro Charm, I thought ehh, why not? They arrived very quickly (PRIME!) and in a nice basic box. They were wrapped in a good amount of protective tissue paper and stuffed with cardboard for the boots to retain their shape. I pulled them from the box and it all went down hill from there.From a distance these Chelseas COULD look nice, but sitting in my hand from a few feet away, they were completely unacceptable. The cardboard that was designed to protect the shoe from losing its shape was completely unnecessary as the shoe itself felt like it was made from cheap cardboard wrapped in scratchy construction paper. The soles were incredibly thin, almost like they were painted on, and they was clearly ZERO foot support just from looking at them. To top it all off, my example had a big fat glue stain with a large ball of glue stuck by the neck of the shoe.I put it on my foot just for the heck of it since it was already at the house and it felt like walking inside an empty tissue box. The toe-box creased with the first step and it let out a creaking groan like an animal in agony. I quickly pulled them from my feet and stuffed them back in the box before the glue smell filled my entire bedroom.In summary: If you are looking for a pair boots that feel like a tissue box on your feet and look like they were assembled by your niece with a hot glue gun, then these are for you! They are comfy and fit just right too. I could not give these 5 stars though because the awful SMELL. I'm pretty sure that it's the dye, but the petrochemical off-gassing is so bad (even after sitting out for a couple of days) that I don't know if I am going to be able to keep them. Bummer because I really like the shoes.The shoe is as pictured and is good for the price. The interior is somewhat soft but not much arch support. I could not where it everyday. The outside material is not the strongest and would not stand up to rain or other inclement weather. As is said its okay for the price.Really nice shoes. they look amazing. Most people would probably love them as soon as the weird smell wears off. I bought them a size higher because I read the reviews that they run small, and with the size increase, they fit comfortably.Make sure you buy them with 0.5 or 1.0 size higher if you are considering.
