My daughter is 6ft. This dress was long enough for her to step on without shoes, which was the right length for her. She is also a size 10 and I ordered a 14, due to a previous dress I had ordered that was too small. This dress was still snug on her, but not too tight. I would suggest going up a size or 2. Overall the dress was absolutely beautiful. I definitely would recommend.I ordered this dress two days before my sisters homecoming dance, keeping my fingers crossed it would fit and look just like the picture. It not only arrived on time but was true to what i had seen online. the color and detail of the dress is beautiful. There are built in cups so we didn't have to worry about how to hide a bra (because the top is sheer where there is no lace so even a strapless bra would be seen.) It does come pretty wrinkled, however that is to be expected. If you do not have several days to let it hang, you will definitely need a steamer you will not want to wear it right out of the box. Also, this dress is extremely long. I'd say if you were any shorter than 5'10 you will need to wear some serious heels to not have it drag all over the floor . My sister is about 5'6 but with her sky high heels she was able to make it work. The size is pretty accurate to their sizing charts, at least for us. She is only 15 so it was just a tad to big, but she would not have fit into a smaller size, we just pinned the top and it was fine. I'd also say if you have a fairly large chest, the cups in the just probably won't be enough support so plenty of tape!! :) With all that said the dress is stunning. She felt beautiful and received compliments all night. Would highly recommend!There were stains in the dress and size was too bigI absolutely love this dress. I bought it for my engagement pictures and i was so happy to when I saw that it was exactly like shown on the pictures. Go buy the size chart. I am usually an 8 and i had to get a size 12 because of my measurements and it fit perfectly. The only negative thing I have to say is about the breast cup. It fits a bit uncomfortable and doesnt do a good job on making your breast look nice. But besides that, it is a comfortable and elegant dress for any occasion.I bought this dress in hopes of wearing it for a formal night on an upcoming cruise.I'm always a size 4 in dresses with the measurements 34-27-34, and I couldn't get the size 6 to zip up all the way for the life of me. So disappointed because the dress itself looks fantastic, and I don't have the time to make any alterations.I would recommended going up TWO sizes. Oh, and the length is made to fit a very tall woman (~5'10" - 6 ft).Petite ladies would definitely need to get the length altered.The dress was really nice, but i couldnt fit it up top. The next 3 sizes were unavailable so i returned it and went with a different dress. I measure 37 up top, but i bought a size 6 because all dresses fit differently. However this dress is true to size for the bust. I was even willing to get a size 12 or 14 and alter it down to a size 10, but the availability sucks.Also the dress is extremely long, had it fit me i would've just altered it.I purchased this dress for a formal wedding. The dress is even more beautiful in person. Also the quality of the designer's craftsmanship is really good as well. I initially purchased this dress and another dress by the same designer. Both dresses were exquisite in there own right but I decided to keep this one. However, I did have the dress taken in a little in the back above the zipper area. The alteration made this gown conform to my upper body perfectly. I recieved several complaints on my gown, even from the bride herself. Overall, I am more than pleased with my purchase and would definitely purchase a dress/gown made by this design in the future.Beautiful dress arrived quickly. I would definitely recommend going by the measurements and not by the size you typically wear. I feel like the bra pads that's are attached to the dress need to be moved back towards armpit just slightly to better hide it but other than that I'm excited and can't wait to wear this dress to the army ball with my husband
